Glen is the Executive Director of the Commonwealth Health Insurance
Connector Authority, which is tasked with implementing universal health care
in our state and was named among the 12
Bostonians Changing the World by the Boston Globe earlier this
year. Glen will discuss how his agency's work informs the roll-out of
universal health care nationally and will highlight the impact of health
care reform on businesses, individuals, families in Massachusetts.
Vivek is an attending physician at Brigham and
Women's Hospital and an instructor at Harvard Medical School where he is an
internal medicine hospitalist. He is co-founder and President of Doctors for America, a grassroots
organization of over 15,000 doctors and medical students working to build a
high quality, affordable health care system for all Americans. Dr. Murthy
was co-chair of President Obama's Health Care Advisory Group for the 2012
campaign. He will speak about his experiences representing numerous
stakeholders in the health care discussion.
