Job Search Boot Camp for Experienced Professionals

Please join Al Cotrone, Chief Administrative Officer of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, as he presents his thoughts on career development at any stage. Al will share resources available to alumni of the Ross School and discuss tips and suggestions for successfully navigating the 2012 job market. This workshop will highlight what works and what doesn't as you navigate your career path. Attendees will discover a career development framework which can be applied at any stage of your career. In particular, the workshop promises to be helpful for those wanting to refine their career development process and is not just a "find a job" workshop.

Al Cotrone joined Michigan’s Ross School of Business in 1996 and is currently the school's Chief Administrative Officer overseeing Career Services, Student Life, Academic Services, Ross Facilities, the Library and Computing Services.
Al graduated from Miami University in Oxford Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business in 1982. He passed the CPA exam in May of 1982 and audited for Price Waterhouse in Chicago until he moved into Human Resources in 1989. Focusing on HR Generalist duties, he moved to the Detroit area and joined Coopers & Lybrand in 1994 where he was the Regional Recruitment Director until he joined the Ross School in 1996 initially as Associate Director of Career Services.
Al's daughter is an LS&A graduate and his son is currently a Junior at Michigan working toward his degree in Environmental Science.
